• Integration of computer vision and artificial intelligence for laser ablation. Automated method generating machining strategies to repair worn cutting tool inserts. Simple novel demonstration automated manufacturing reconditioning applications. In industry, cuttings tools are either discarded or recycled. However, recycling is a very energy intensive process. Reconditioning an alternative option that could extend its life. This paper proposes reshaping (LRaR) which integrates vision, machine path planning with machining.
